About vCAMBER
THIS IS A SIMULATION GROUP AND HAS NO CONNECTION WITH THE U.S. MILITARY!
IT IS NOT AFFILIATED, NOR DOES IT PURPORT TO REPRESENT ANY OFFICIAL ORGANISATION.
This is a virtual airline that seeks to replicate the real-world flights by civilian airlines under the USTRANSCOM umbrella. Many civilian airlines provide passenger and cargo services to the U.S. Transportation Command using the CAMBER callsign (CMB), such as Kalitta Air, Omni Air International, Atlas Air, Eastern Air Express, Western Global Airlines. There are others also. The aircraft used, range from the B748, B744, B763, B752, but are not limited to these. If the civilian airline uses an aircraft on a CAMBER mission, then we offer it for our crews to fly.
We promote replication of real-world so do not bid for flights, it is a matter of seeing and doing.
This group aims to become a VATSIM Virtual Airline Partner once established with the minimum criteria. Until that time we fly as individuals on the network but record our flights with the group.
We do not and will not seek any Special Operations status, as member will not be undertaking any ‘permitted’ activities;

Support of VSOA partners in Exercises etc is permitted by VA Partner members, which we will seek to develop once partner status is gained.
The aim is to allow VSOAs to pass transport requests for loads they cannot fulfil, but are required to meet their mission objectives.
